Alan, Graham and Stuart won the final game, a Texas Scramble. Played at the River Club, which was in excellent order, they cruised to victory with a 65. This was 5 better than the two teams from the eXtreme camp who both shot 2 under 70,s.

Steven Reid again out played the rest of the tour players by some margin. With 195 points from 6 rounds he was 12 points clear of his nearest challengers, Chris and Mike, who both finished on 183 points.

Playing for much of the tour off a handicap below his club one Steve was certainly a class act. This is the first man to retain the title and the first to win it twice. Well played Steven Reid.

Steve retains the Tour Trphy

After his nightmare at Waterlefe Graham showed his mental strength and won with a splendid 39 points, the highest points total of this tour. Another plus was that he did not lose a single ball. Heritage Oaks was in very good condition thought the weather again gave us a little warm rain.

Waterlefe is one of the toughest tracks we play and the low men took the test head on. Mike Caddle, off one, shot a level par round and must have fancied his chances. Then playing behind, 4 handicapper, David Farrer carded the same points total of 37. David took the victory with the better back 9. It was awesome golf from these guys.

1 – David Farrer

The worst weather we have ever experienced on tour hit us yesterday at Legacy. This Arnold Palmer design was still a joy to play even though the conditions were more like a wet Cumbrian day with a very heavy shower at the beginning of our round and then the last 9 holes in constant rain.
These conditions brought the best out of Andrew and Graham and the win was taken by Andrew after a count back.

1 – Andrew Proud
